We believe that the only way for brands to engage and connect in this new environment is through the generation of emotive ideas produced for whatever medium people happen to be interacting with at the moment.

We developed our account management model with two main objectives: business know how and getting things done. The old school way of account management simply being the go-between has been demolished and replaced with a team of people who add business value and are part of the creation process.

We are a collective of thinkers, producers, designers, editors, motion graphic artists, and online developers.

We work on a wide array of projects from fully integrated campaigns right through to project based communication pieces that take the form of television, radio, online video as well as design for web, print and outdoor.

Our Digital department is made up of backend and frontend developers with a focus on application development. Nothing is too complex. While we specialise in website design and e-commerce solutions, we have also developed custom online applications for many clients. Founded in the “Rails” framework, we can build complex applications extremely quickly. In fact, we built our own custom CMS through the shear frustration of the limitations found in using third party CMS systems.

STEAM’s content management system, the Steam Engine, is running on over 50 of our client’s sites internationally, which allows them to manage their digital assets and self-manage the content on their sites. It has become a platform from which many sophisticated custom built online applications operate on.

Strategic insight gives us the power to connect and shines a light on the path of consumer behaviour. This information combined with pre and post campaign research builds the roadmap we follow for any endeavour we embark on.

DESIGN

STEAM creates visual communication with emotional precision. Design is at the core of everything we do. It is our life blood. Great design is more than simple aesthetic improvement or evolution. It drives user experience. It creates emotionally powerful bonds between brand and consumer, and more than anything else, when it’s done right, it drives revenue and improves the bottom line.

CONTENT

Steam’s Content Lab gathers the concept and creation experience of actors, directors, photographers, singers, online content creators; basically anyone who is inspired by creating engaging content, and puts them to work developing content for commerce ideas for our clients.
 

TECHNOLOGY

Technology is the new frontier. Evolving by the minute and leaving dusty, old school ideas in its wake. We embrace and harness this environment of constant change to create new opportunities for our clients. We do this through, application development, rich media creation, e-commerce, data management, social media and mobile application and content creation.

PIPELINE STUDIO

With the move of our Sydney office to new premesis in Alexandria we decided to build a full 7m x 10m production studio space which is geared towards film and still productions.

With plenty of parking and dock level access, we make any production a pleasure. Call us if you’re interested in hiring the space. We can arrange crew and any associated equipment. If you’re interested in green screen shooting…well we specialise in that.
